The GlenLakes golf course was designed with substance to go along with it's style. The Ron Garl designed golf course plays to many skill levels and is a challenge for all golfers. It's fair and playable and has the character of a sandhill golf course. It has a rolling, contoured layout, playing 6,782 yards from the black tees, with a course rating of 71.4 and a slope rating of 138. Hills, sand, trees and water come into play, as well as hidden greens that give each hole a varied look during each round. The tif eagle greens are in excellant shape and have a lot of undulation, which makes them challenging to read. A mixture of pot bunkers, target fairways, contoured grass, layered greens and blind approaches give the course its signature. The front is fairly level and wooded. The first four holes set you up and then you start getting into the course's real flavor. The back nine is longer and tighter.
